Story of Daedalus and Icarus
Hellen's sons divided Greece, with Xuthus eventually ruling Athens. His sons Ion and Achaeus founded Achaia and Ionia. The Greeks sailed to Crete, ruled by wise King Minos. Daedalus, a brilliant inventor, created the saw, potter's wheel, and sails for ships. When Daedalus was imprisoned in the Labyrinth he built for Minos, he made wings of feathers and wax to escape. Icarus flew too high, the sun melted the wax, and he fell into the sea. Daedalus flew safely to Greece.
